PSA nitrogen generator process flow
The ambient air is compressed and purified (removing oil, water, dust, etc. in the compressed air) and then enters the adsorption tower equipped with carbon molecular sieve. A large amount of nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase. It enters the nitrogen buffer tank through the upper part of the adsorption tower, while the oxygen molecules remain in its molecular sieve. The entire adsorption process is carried out under pressure. When the adsorption pressure drops to normal pressure, the adsorbed oxygen molecules escape from the carbon molecular sieve, enter the muffler through the lower part of the tower and then discharge the atmosphere, and the molecular sieve is regenerated at the same time. Usually, the PSA nitrogen generator adopts double adsorption in parallel to alternately carry out adsorption nitrogen production, desorption regeneration, separation of oxygen and nitrogen, and continuous gas supply. The above process is automatically controlled by the computer control system.
