PSA Nitrogen Generator Principle
PSA nitrogen generators operate on the same principle as PSA oxygen generators. Using molecular sieve as an adsorbent under pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology, nitrogen is separated from compressed air.
The molecular sieve's microporous structure allows oxygen molecules (with faster diffusion rates) to be adsorbed while nitrogen molecules (with slower diffusion rates) pass through. The system consists of two absorption towers that alternate between production and regeneration cycles, controlled by PLC for continuous operation.
