PSA technology leverages carbon molecular sieve's selective adsorption to produce high-purity nitrogen from air. Compressed air enters adsorption towers where CMS adsorbs oxygen, moisture, and impurities under pressure. Nitrogen is collected as product gas while CMS is regenerated through pressure release, enabling continuous cyclic operation. Compared to VPSA systems, PSA offers faster startup times (5-10 minutes), higher operating pressure, and more compact design—ideal for dual-mode functionality.
