GNEE Continuously and Efficiently Delivers Multiple LNG Fuel Tanks
GNEE has been achieving remarkable results in the production and delivery of LNG fuel tanks. With its outstanding technical strength, efficient project management capabilities, and strong emergency response capabilities, it continues to empower the green transformation of the global shipping industry.
1600 m³ LNG Cryogenic Fuel Tanks Successfully Shipped
The 1600m³ LNG cryogenic fuel tanks produced by GNEE were successfully hoisted and shipped in the West District. These tanks are made of 9% nickel steel, classified by DNV, with a net weight of 200 tons per tank, and will be used with container ships.
During the shipping process, strong winds suddenly hit. The production, technology, safety and other departments of the company responded quickly. By optimizing the operation plan and strengthening safety control measures, they completed the tank shipping task on time under the premise of ensuring construction safety, laying the foundation for the smooth implementation of the hoisting operation the next day. Both tanks were successfully hoisted at one time. Behind these achievements is the company's unremitting pursuit of quality management, which fully reflects GNEE's excellent emergency management capabilities and sound quality control system.
Delivered 2 LNG Fuel Tanks for the Petroleum Station Project
The 2 fuel tanks for the petroleum station project adopt an independent Type C, semi-cold and semi-pressure design. The tank body is made of high-performance 9% nickel steel, which has both ultra-low temperature resistance and lightweight advantages. The net weight of a single tank plus the TCS platform is about 199 tons, meeting the dual classification society standards of DNV and KR.
GNEE has always adhered to the customer-centric concept. In response to the customer's demand for shortening the tank delivery cycle due to the acceleration of production plans, the company quickly set up a special task force. Through optimizing production plans, increasing resource allocation, and implementing 24-hour shift work, it achieved efficient performance of the contract. On the premise of ensuring "zero quality defects", it finally completed the delivery of 2 1750m³ LNG fuel tanks 15 days in advance.
Delivered 2 2000m³ LNG Fuel Tanks
The fuel tanks delivered this time will serve the car ro-ro ship project and are classified by DNV. The GNEE project team closely focused on the customer's dock window demand, comprehensively sorted out and refined the list of remaining tasks, and optimized the final inspection process. Finally, the delivery node was confirmed 5 days earlier than the original plan, striving for sufficient time for subsequent debugging, which fully demonstrated its excellent project control and emergency response capabilities.
The continuous delivery of fuel tank projects recently is a vivid epitome of GNEE's ability to quickly respond to market demands and efficiently serve customers. In the future, GNEE will continue to adhere to the "customer-centric" concept, keep improving, pioneering and innovating, commit to improving the quality and efficiency of tank manufacturing, and actively research, develop and promote the use of more low-carbon energy sources, so as to contribute to the green and low-carbon transformation of the global shipping industry.
